The Role
We’re looking for a freelance video producer to support us on shows including Miss Me? and Political Currency. You will be creating video content from our shows for social media clips, and full episodes for YouTube.
You will have a proven track record of creating entertaining and engaging video content for social media. You must be able to shoot and edit your own footage, as well as manage remote recordings.
Requirements:
At least 3 years demonstrable, professional experience producing video content for social media. This does not include work experience or work undertaken whilst studying
An understanding of different social media platforms and how to create content for them
Experience of using the Adobe Suite: Required: Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and After Effects
Experience of using Sony FX cameras, lenses and lighting, and an understanding of shot composition
Using pre-made Adobe templates to follow and fulfil deliverables in a timely fashion
Experience of remotely controlling hardware for audio & video recordings
Using software to record audio for podcasts, and OBS Studio to record local video
Strong editorial judgment
Experience of working with high profile talent
This a fast-paced role. You will be a highly-organised team player, and a great communicator with the ability to manage tight deadlines. Some of our shows are recorded and turned around on the same day
Rate
£250 to £350 per day, depending on skills and experience. Cameras and equipment supplied. You will preferably use your own laptop.
Location
This is a hybrid role. Some work will be remote, but travel to locations will be required. In the past few months our producers have travelled to New York and Paris
