You will be joining a supportive team which values our production talent as much as the huge names we work with in front of the microphone. We are committed to diversifying the audio industry. We are a small but growing team, who think on our feet and have exceptionally high standards.
Role Requirements
At least 3 years of demonstrable experience producing successful sports podcasts or radio shows. This does not include work experience or work undertaken whilst studying.
Advanced audio editing skills. Familiarity with Adobe audition is preferable. You will be expected to record, edit and deliver a quality, finished product.
You will have creative flair and the ability to generate ideas and work up items for the podcast by yourself.
You will have a good knowledge of the disability sports and an awareness of key athletes, past and present.
Experience of preparing and producing long-form interviews.
A proven track record of working with the highest level of talent.
An understanding of media law and strong editorial judgement.
Experience of growing an audience and engaging a community of listeners through podcasts, radio or social media.
A flair for creating viral social media moments and writing fun and engaging copy. Video editing skills are preferable.
Experience running recording sessions in a remote studio.
You will be a highly organised team player and a great communicator with the ability to manage a project with strict deadlines.
Location
This is a hybrid role. Persephonica has offices in Sheffield and London.
Contract / Salary
This is a fixed-term contract, likely ending in August 2024. We are open to discussing flexible working patterns and a full or part time role depending on start date.
The salary range is £35-42,000 (pro rata) depending on experience.
